More broadly, the Parkes Shire has major retailers, such as Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Big W and Harvey Norman, and a myriad of independently owned stores spread across the Shire, ensuring your retail therapy needs are met. 

Parkes Shire Council has partnered with WhyLeaveTown to bring our Shire a regional gift card program to encourage more customers to shop locally. Gift cards purchased in the Parkes Shire are spent here at any participating store.
